Şeyma Takır, Barış Bilen and Doğukan Arslan, research assistants at the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering, Faculty of Computer and Informatics, were awarded the first prize in the Best Oral-Visual Presentation Paper Competition at the IEEE SIU 2024 Congress with their work titled ‘Emotion Analysis in Turkish Sign Language with Facial Expressions and Hand Gestures’. The award certificate was presented to our research assistants at the congress held at Tarsus University between 15-18 May.
